Deutschland Zensurland?

Heute habe ich mich mal umgesehen, da in den letzten Wochen (zumindest in der blog/twitter/online-Welt) viel über Zensur, Internetsperren und Einschnitte unsere Freiheit gesprochen wurde.
Hiermit fing mein Tag heute an:

I don’t think – unfortunately – this is so far away from the truth. A girlfriend of mine who was in investment banking in London and who is a very attractive and blond young lady couldn’t stop watching the video because it reminded her so much of her life there.

I also found an article around #worldwomensday which (I think it was in the FT Germany) that confirmed that women sometimes get UP TO 80% LESS in bonus payments because men spilt the cake among them.

Time to stand up – we already know that being a kickass women and having regular manicures and shaving your legs is ok, but it is time to actually do something about this tremendous injustice!

So here is my call to stand up:

10 things I hate about Barcelona

It is not to be confused with hating Barcelona – I don’t hate it – I found my new home here, but some things…

here is my list:

1. The Crisis! In every way it if affect us here…

2. Prostitutes in the Ramblas at night, molesting people who walk by or trying the fast way to money by pickpocketing

3. Public transportation: bagsnatchers in the metro, sticky air on a bus, people getting to close to you – either being creepy men or also bagsnatchers AGAIN

4. “Nationalist” silly Catalan people – Barcelona only for Catalans – Tourists and Expats get out of our Barrio

5. The Rain – when it rains you dont only get wet, the world drowns and you drown with her – soaking wet! brrr

6. People spitting in the street – everywhere and all the time, actually worst area might be Raval, around my first apartment, sometimes I had to jump out of the way and the run from a cucaracha that was coming from the other side

7. Cucarachas – and for that matter all other small animals and insects bigger than my finger nail that are living a supposingly happy and sorrowfree life in Barcelona

8. Standing in line for free entrance to a club – everybody can get anywhere on a free guest or call it even VIP list. But then you have to stand in VIP line which is a dozen times longer (obviously) than normal peoples line

9. Powercuts and no hot water – AGAIN, well that is no joke – I spent entire weekends without electricty and believe me being a romantic hippie is just fun for so long

10. The Catalan Wall – or Catalan Blocker! People don’t respect personal space but that’s ok but they also just run into you! Or they just stop for no reason in the middle of the street (best to do in groups) so that you run into them, or come out of doors without looking, again to tackle you brutally! Why? God knows…
